Goan Cuisines.
Goa is a state, which is located at south western region of India. Goa is specially know for its Spices and goan fish curry rice.
Most of the goan dishes is made by with coconut oil. Goa is also famous for its Cashewnut Fenny and Coconut Fenny.
Which is traditionally prepared from Ancient time. Some of the main ingredients which is widely used in goan cuisines are Kokum, Tamarind, Red chillies and Cashews. Mostly loved seafood in Goa are Kingfish, Pomfret, Prawns,Crabs,Mackerele and many other. Spices such as dried Red chillies, Cumin seeds, Cinnamon sticks,
Cardamom pods, Cloves , black peppercorns,turmeric and salt are grown in the State of Goa.
During festival seasons, goan people has their own methods of preparing their cuisines as per their Culture and Religion.
Sweets are prepared like Cakes, Dodol,Bebinka,Cashew barfi, coconut cookies, Nevaris, Modaks, Panchakat, Kesar Rice and many more.
